Hanging Out in the ‘Good Land’ for the Weekend

Day 6

food Our plans today and tomorrow were to spend some time in Milwaukee. For breakfast we drove about 15 minutes to Allie Boys Bagelery. I didn’t know there was such a thing as a bagelery. My spell checker doesn’t either.

The coffee was good and the bagels were very tasty
I had the classic sausage, egg and cheese bagel
Mary had an open-faced egg salad bagel.

We visited a farmers market in Whitefish Bay and then headed home to get ready for our next fun outing-A Brewers game.

food We really enjoy going to the Brewers stadium. It has somewhat comfortable seating, a retractable roof, and one of the best concession areas. As with most Major League teams, they’ve upped their game with food and drink offerings. But I’m not sure that any other team has an actual brewery onsite.

The Brewers lost to the Nationals but otherwise we all had a wonderful time with good food, drink and a fun experience.
